RCWD public meetings to discuss the Southwest Urban Lake Study
Board | NoticeThe Rice Creek Watershed District will be holding public meetings to discuss the Southwest Urban Lake Study. This study was initiated to address water quality issues on lakes in the southwest portion of the District. Twenty-four lakes are included in the study. The public meetings will be broken in four parts, each of which will address water quality issues on six lakes. The dates, locations, and lakes included in each of these meetings are as follows.
Lakes: Johanna, Josephine, Little Johanna, Little Josephine, Island, Zimmerman –to be announced
Lakes: Hart, Jones, Langton, Pike, Poplar, Walsh- June 2, 2008, 6 p.m. St. Anthony City Hall
Lakes: Karth, Martha, Marsden, Sunfish, Turtle, Valentine- May 29, 2008, 6 p.m. Bethel College
Lakes: Locke, Long, Moore, Round, Rush, Spring-June 3, 2008, 6:30 p.m. New Brighton City Hall
