RCWD public meetings to discuss the Southwest Urban Lake Study-finalized
Board MeetingsThe Rice Creek Watershed District will be holding public meetings to discuss the Southwest Urban Lake Study. This study was initiated to address water quality issues on lakes in the southwest portion of the District. Twenty-four lakes are included in the study. The public meetings will be broken in four parts, each of which will address water quality issues on six lakes. The dates, locations, and lakes included in each of these meetings are as follows.
Lakes: Johanna, Josephine, Little Johanna, Little Josephine, Island, Zimmerman – June 5, 2008 6 p.m. Northwestern College, 3003 Snelling Ave. N., St. Paul
Lakes: Hart, Jones, Langton, Pike, Poplar, Walsh- June 2, 2008, 6 p.m. St. Anthony City Hall, 3301 Silver Lake Road NE, St. Anthony
Lakes: Karth, Martha, Marsden, Sunfish, Turtle, Valentine- May 29, 2008, 6 p.m. Bethel College, 3900 Bethel Drive, St. Paul
Lakes: Locke, Long, Moore, Round, Rush, Spring-June 3, 2008, 6:30 p.m. New Brighton City Hall, 803 Old Hwy 8 NW, New Brighton
