Rules
The Rules of the Rice Creek Watershed District are those policies that the District has adopted to protect the public health and welfare and the natural resources of the District. These rules are enforceable under Minnesota Statute.

Data Practices Act Policy
The Data Practices Act policy was adopted by the board of managers to define how the RCWD disseminates and retains information.
Boundary
The boundary of the Rice Creek Watershed District is defined in law by a land description reproduced here. It has been amended a number of times since the District was founded in 1972.
State and National Rules
Wetland Conservation Act
The Minnesota Wetland Conservation Act protects all wetlands in the state. Although the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources oversees the Wetland Conservation Act, The Rice Creek Watershed District administers these rules in the communities we serve.
